Haiku Monthly - Brad Nelson "Join our monthly
voyage into the kaleidoscopic world of Forth Haiku. Catch the news, views, and
hues of the latest Haiku gems." In this months edition:
- Spin, TV, and out of this world
- Waves of Spam - The Eternal Struggle
- An in-depth special: Trees of Light - Tracing the Origins of
Ancient Haiku
- "The early history of Forth Haiku, while a time of intense
energy and experimentation, was also a period shrouded in mystery. The familial
lineage of early Haiku masterworks has been lost to the poor record keeping of
simpler days. But now, using modern techniques, we can peel back the shadows
and explore the history of these early Haiku! We'll trace the explosion of
diversity we now enjoy back to a few seminal works, and see where it all began.
Come with us on a fantastic journey through the Haiku family tree."

Spectroscopy with a CDROM - CH Ting A
CDROM is a piece of extraordinary technology that has become ordinary as so
many are produced. CDROMs are high quality diffraction gratings, though a bit
curved. I built spectroscopes for visual observations and spectrographs to
photograph spectra with digital cameras. I hope to build spectrometers that can
scan spectra electronically.

Experiences Porting RetroForth to Kestrel-3 - Samuel
A. Falvo II "I will talk about my experiences in porting the
Ngaro
virtual machine to the bare metal Kestrel-3. The Ngaro VM is what
RetroForth runs on top of, so
porting Ngaro should be sufficient, right?
