Improving Virial Equation of State for Real Gases - CH Ting
"I researched the Equations of State literature to confirm my suspicions that most third Virial coefficients are inaccurate. The Benedict-Webb-Rubin (BWR) and Benedict-Webb-Rubin- Starling (BWRS) Equations of State are actually good Virial Equation of States, demonstrating the proper behavior of both the second and third Virial coefficients. My cubic Virial equation is a very accurate representation of gas-liquid isotherms, much better than the old van der Waals Equation of State."

Bit-banging VGA with the GA144 - James Bowman
The GA144 can drive a VGA display at 640x480 with no extra components. Using an array of nodes as pixel generators creates some interesting real-time effects.

Kestrel Update: Introducing the Kestrel-2DX Development System
"Six years ago, I made the first commit to Github for the Kestrel-2 computer. Three years ago, I stopped development of the Kestrel-2. Today, it's back."

Little-Endian Bitmapped Graphics
"Remember how easy graphics programming was on the Commodore 64 or Atari 800? Remember how that was basically lost whenever you tried to treat graphics data with registers wider than 8-bits? You can get that kind of ease of use back without sacrificing opportunities for optimizations via wider integer widths ... *IF* you're willing to think differently about bitmaps."
