I don’t use it in my own versions of Forth. 2026-01-24 11:35:54 From Nelo Mitranim to Everyone: Haven't published this yet; needs some cleanup first. It’s always searched first during compilation. 2026-01-24 11:54:27 From Nelo Mitranim to Everyone: Replying to "Nelo, have you considered not using a state variab...": Sounds similar enough. In my system, the compiler always checks both dictionaries, but the priority depends on the state. In interpretation mode, it checks the "exec" wordlist first, and in compilation mode, it checks the "comp" wordlist first, falling back on the other (actually it checks locals first, but that's details) 2026-01-24 11:56:51 From Joseph O'Connor to Everyone: Replying to "Nelo, have you considered not using a state variab...": Fascinating. I really like looking at alternative versions of handling compiling and interpretation in Forth. 2026-01-24 11:57:29 From paul durao to Everyone: J programming language is getting traction 2026-01-24 12:01:50 From Stephen Adels (cell) to Everyone: R.I.P.
