"You are programming a voice generator responding to numeric entry. For a numeric input 0 to 100, print the equivalent in text. A 101 entry lookup table would be frowned upon. Efficient factoring will receive admiration."

Entity Component Systems and Ascetic Programming- Samuel A. Falvo II
"In about 2004, I 'invented' a style of programming in Forth I called Ascetic Programming. Over the years, and after many SVFIG talks, I still get asked, "What is it all about?" Here's yet another attempt to explain what Ascetic Programming is, this time in terms more people should be able to understand. If time allows, I'll compare Forth code against similar Rust or C code to help illustrate."
