Exhaustive Search of Patterns in Bacterial Genomes - CH Ting
"I am doing exhaustive searches for 20 base repeated patterns in 6 model bacteria with genomes ranging from 112K to 4.6M bp. I call these repeated patterns "pearls". I would like to identify clusters of consecutive pearls, which I call "necklaces". I hope that the necklaces are associated with microRNAs which control all cell functions."
