Exploring the Wonders of D-Charting - Bill Ragsdale
Bill will present Dijkstra's "D-Charts" created by Edsger W. Dijkstra and introduced to the Forth Community by Kim Harris. The process naturally augments Forth in expressing its control structure visually. You'll never go back to the traditional flow charting of programs.

Dijkstra coined the phrase "structured programming" and during the 1970s this became the new programming orthodoxy. In 1968 he wrote a private paper "A Case against the GO TO Statement", which was then published as a letter in CACM Editor Niklaus Wirth gave this letter the heading "Go To Statement Considered Harmful", which introduced the phrase "considered harmful" into computing.
