IR Link for the Arduino Board - CH Ting
Ting presented a means to communication over an infrared link for the ATmega328P microcontroller on the Arduino board. He discussed the frequency variations of the internal oscillator and how that affects the baud rate. Ting is using the Vishay TSOP31236 IR receiver chip.

Forth Micro-Mainframe - A Plausible Project for Next Year's Maker Faire - Samuel A. Falvo II
"Folks at this year's Maker Faire seemed to love the idea of combining Forth and FPGAs. Regrettably, we had to continuously point to other projects in other booths as "existence proofs" of Forth's applications. To illustrate Forth's scalability on-site, in both hardware *and* software forms, I envision a single-FPGA, 4- or 5-terminal, multi-user, multi-tasking ANS(-like) Forth environment allowing visitors to interact with Forth environments safely, in real-time, and on stack-architecture hardware at the SVFIG table next year."
