Forth Compiled by Arduino IDE - CH Ting
"I used
a Forth metacompiler to produce an image of the Forth dictionary, which will be
included in a C program to generate a Forth system. I tried to produce the
dictionary in Python for feasibility. Now I can produce it in C, and then
include it in an Arduino Sketch for esp32Forth. Native C does not offer tools
to build a Forth dictionary. However, I coded a few macro assembler routines in
C to build link, name, and code fields, and they worked!"

Forth Teaching Robot - Don Golding
Don will
share the Rev. 2 Robot Board Changes and talk about the project's
direction.
"I have 20 of the bare first generation boards. They are
programmed with a JTAG interface. However, they don't have the whisker sensors
and the SD Card is the wrong footprint. These boards, available for purchase
for $5 or free if you buy a Rev2 board for $45. I am putting the Rev. 2 boards
into fab next week and am planning to have them stuffed and available for the
July meeting." |
