Olimex
SAM7-EX256 ARM board - CH Ting
"I just got eForth running on an Olimex board with an AT91SAM7X256 ARM7
microcontroller. This chip is interesting because it has 64 Kbytes of RAM, 256
Kbytes of flash, and an 8 MHz ADC. The Olimex development board includes a
small color LCD display. It should be a good host for my digital storage
oscilloscope project. I will talk about my efforts and demonstrate the
software."
- Olimex board:
- 8 Mhz ADC on chip
- 132 by 132 color LCD displaay
- 5-switch joystick plus 2 additional switches
- 3 UARTS (one is the debug serial port)
- JTAG, USB, Etherneet, SPI, CAN
- 64 Kbyes RAM on chip
- 256 Kbytes Flash on chip
- Working now:
- eForth running from Flash
- LCD backlight
- Future tasks:
- ADC
- Timing control
- Joystick and switches
- System integration
