Virial Equation State for Gas-liquid-solid Equilibrium - CH Ting

  1. The 3rd virial coefficient is a monotonically decreasing function of T.
  2. A cubic virial EOS P=RT/v+B/v2+C/v3 accurately prescribes gas-liquid equilibrium.
  3. The cubic virial EOS can be extended P=(RT/V)(1+B/V+C/V2+U/Vn+W/V2n) for gas-liquid-solid equilibrium.

We enjoyed lunch at The Treehouse.

Introductions, Announcements, Rumors, and Gossip
Possible discussion topics include: Have you seen something cool? Have your read a good book? Have you heard a good podcast? Can you share the interesting things you are working on? These do not have to be Forth-related. There was an update on Carl Claunch's IBM 1130 Forth Project.

Over-the-Shoulder - Andreas Wagner
"I'll present an Over-the-Shoulder-style screencast-tutorial-talk with first-in-first-out (fifo)-style Forth, using as an example a simple pixel graphics waterfall oscilloscope / logic-analyzer on the PSoC 5LP sourcing from its analog to digital converters (adc). To exercise the benefits of viewing the parameters as a fifo and not exclusively as a stack, adc samples could have phase info, trigger metadata, etc and the fifo could be filtered (line-wise) and subsequently factored into digital bits, bytes, and protocol packets. This would run on mecrisp-stellaris Forth. I'll be running mecrisp on a PSoC 5LP."
