Jax Cheap Approximation of Insight into UCSB Quantum Computing - Jack Woehr
"Since I'm too cheap to pay for the articles from Nature, Physics Today, etc., my approximation of insight into the work of the Martinis Group at USCB is derived from a brief conversation with Dr. Martinis on December 4, 2014 and from inferences made on the basis of the pretty pictures on the Martinis Group website."

12:00

Lunch
We ate at the Treehouse.

13:00

Introductions, Rumors, and Gossip
We chatted about exhibiting at Maker Faire Bay Area (May 16th & 17th)!

Kestrel Update - Samuel A. Falvo II
"I can give a quick update on the Kestrel's 64-bit developments. I've finally settled on an overall memory map, and work on my assembler has resumed now that I have an idea of how to proceed with it."

Sam will also provide updated information concerning the RISC-V community. The lowRISC group is working to create a real chip with a somewhat mainframe-y feel, targeting embedded environments.
