MIDI Programming of Gospel Songs - CH
Ting
"I will talk about and demonstrate a few songs encoded in MIDI. I had my
program translate Bach's organ pieces to MIDI and play them with Windows Media
Player. This is a simple extension to gospel songs which often come with guitar
chord notations. At least we will have some fun for the holiday season."

RetroForth and other Stuff - George
Perry
RetroForth is a compact, open source
Forth development system. It can be used under FreeBSD, Linux, BeOS, Windows,
SCO OpenServer, or as an operating system. It is advertised as very easy to
learn, use, and extend with standard libraries like SDL, and it can also be
used to create tight, stand-alone applications.
Charles Childers comments: "RetroForth and HerkForth,
while sharing some ideals and words, have always been totally separate
projects. RetroForth has been under development since 1998; Jason Woofenden's
HerkForth was started more
recently."
