CARDIAC Project - John Rible
An unassembled Bell Labs CARDIAC Computer Trainer was obtained at the Vintage Computer Festival! As Taygeta has copyright permission for this product, there is now an opportunity to update its design. John will talk about the three architectures he would like to have CARDIAC 2000 demonstrate. This talk will also be given at FORML in Asilomar this month.

The Ting Papers - C.H. Ting
1) "On the Threshold of Intelligence" Ting distinguishes three types of intelligence: human intelligence, machine intelligence, and artificial intelligence. From there he identifies missing links in current approaches to building systems on a chip.

2) "CPU Design 101 - Build a Simulator First?" Ting found that his P8 simulator work can be developed into a general CPU design methodology.
