Technical Session Part I: Win32Forth Workshop - C.H. Ting This is the first of a two part workshop that Ting will lead. The second part will be in the morning session of the next monthly meeting - Saturday, October 27. Ting would like to see how to best to use this platform for various applications. He has pretty much nailed down the graphics tools for it. He hopes our members will experiment with other areas. One particular question for the membership: Who knows how to control the sound cards using Win32Forth? He has modified Win32Forth to display all the text information in Chinese. This is the first step in building Chinese Forth system without English. Although this is probably not very interesting to Americans, it can potentially bring Forth to billions of Chinese. |
