Technical Session: Ting Topics - CH Ting
  1. ARM eForth running on GameBoy Advance - GBA turns out to be an excellent platform for program development. It has 256K RAM, 8MB of flash, and a host of other interesting peripherals, including a 240x160 color LCD display.Ting will demonstrate how this eForth works.

  2. F# in progress - Assembler, disassembler, single step debugger, editor, and many other programs are working now. It looks like a fairly stable Forth system for programming in Windows. Ting will do a short demo, if there is a computer running XP.

  3. Minor topics including a P8 prototype chip, a P16 prototype chip, and other things happening in Taiwan.

Featured Talk: XML - George Perry
George is trying to learn enough XML to figure out if it will help him embed "deferred" behavior into html for the purpose of adding a color-coded threat-level to a civil-liberties happenings webpage. It is desired that Forth manage the content of file, which ?xml-segment will be referenced, and represented, etc. He will share whatever he knows by the time of this meeting.
