09:45

Coffee and Donuts

10:00

Token Threaded eForth - C.H. Ting
The goal is to reduce the eForth size to 4k so that it will fit into a 8751 chip. This effort will probably result in a Forth Stamp.

12:00

Lunch
Pizza or subs from Togos?
Bring your Forth problem to Glen Haydon and he will organize his Brown Bag Tutorial accordingly.

13:00

Introductions, Announcements, Rumors, and Gossip

13:30

Bit Hashed Pattern Matching - Paul Snyder
This is a space saving sort of pattern matching used in spell checkers and the like. This was written in FPC from a technique used in a spell checker written by John James.

14:30

Break

15:00

Diskless Linux as a Prelude to a Forth-OS - Skip Carter
Skip has built a disk-less Linux system that uses a boot ROM that he installed on a network card. He is not running a Forth-OS yet, but the concepts might prove to be useful for anybody who wants to try a pure Forth-OS.

16:00

Adjournment
Post meeting "tea" at a Mt. View coffee house or somewhere else is possible - if it is too early for dinner. "Weird Stuff" is not too far away - most months, a few bargain/oddity hunters gather there after the meeting.
